Week 8

There certainly has been a change in morning temperatures last week. Fortunately we had lots of sunny weather too.

No swimming this week or next due to an outside instructor coming to our school to teach the middle and senior children. We swim again in Week 10.

St. Joseph's Day Liturgy - Monday 10am in the hall. Room 18 (A&B) are presenting this liturgy. All children are involved. Some have speaking parts and some acting. Those who have speaking parts have their words (in their book bags) with instructions to read them 10x each day over the weekend. This will help them read confidently on Monday. All family and friends are welcome to attend our liturgy.

PMP - Mon-Wed. Girls, please remember to bring your PE gear this week for PMP. If you currently don't have the school PE gear, shorts and t-shirts are fine. House lists are up in our class if you're not sure what house your child is in.

Kapa Haka - Starts this week on Thursday afternoons. For the next three weeks all children are welcome to go to Kapa Haka to try it out. Towards the end of the term a notice will come home if you're child is wanting to continue.

Life Education - Bernie and Harold are with us for the next two weeks. Each class will get two lessons in the truck. Our first lesson is this Friday and our second lesson is the following Friday. Our sessions will be focusing on healthy eating.
