Father's Day Gifts

Week 6

Bit of a gloomy day with the weather today - tomorrow's not looking much better :-(

Here's what's on this week...

-Go For It with Tim

Friday
-We will be attending a Parish Mass at St. Mary's Church. Please feel free to come and join us - we would love some parent or grandparents to come along with us. It will be the beginning of our Church strand in R.E.

Golden Time - we will be having a Jesus inspired lunch.

During the middle block we will be making bread - a mess in the making for sure. Then we will be hopefully eating the bread along with other food that Jesus ate when he was alive. If you would like to donate some flour, fruit, honey, figs or dates for our lunch that would be great. Don't stress too much though. The sausage sizzle is still going ahead. It will be cool to compare how we eat today with how Jesus ate when he was a little critter.

Marist Colts Visit

We had some visitors today. The NZ Marist Colts came to visit and show off their skills - boy did they get a workout with the kids!

Te Haeata got to show off his line out skills...

Mr Macmillan and Mrs Tootill had some impressive line out skills too...

Rico had his Chiefs gear on underneath his uniform and got to have a wee chat with the lads...they even signed his rugby ball for him...

They did a haka for us, played ball rush with the kids and one or two gave the big girls a run for their money doing hand stands.

Thank Marist Colts - you were great with the kids!

Teddy Bear's Picnic

Thank you so much for making my birthday so lovely. I've had such a relaxing day - it's been wonderful.

Not many teachers get a life size birthday card - this was so cool Room 18!
