Week 10 - already!!

Good Golly the term is almost done. Each week seems to fly by. The next two weeks are going to be quite busy. Everybody is super tired - please help your child by ensuring they go to bed early each night. Here's what's happening this week...

Swimming - every day. Bring your togs, towel and a plastic bag each day. The weather forecast isn't looking too promising but fingers crossed. This is our last week for the term.

PMP - Monday to Wednesday. Girls need to bring shorts and a t-shirt each day.

Singing Practice - Wednesday 8:45am. Please be at school by 8:40 so we can be in the hall ready to start at 8:45.

Mufti Mania - Easter Theme to raise funds for Caritas. Caritas is a Catholic organisation promoting peace, development and justice in New Zealand and around the world, they help people in need. This year we are helping countries like Tonga and Kiribati who are suffering from the effects of global warming.

Stations of the Cross Liturgy - Thursday 9am in the church. All friends and family are welcome to come along and celebrate with us.

Donkey Parade (Palm Procession) - 9:45am Friday on the School Field. Please bring clothes like Jesus wore to dress up in. Dad's t-shirts (plain, striped or turned inside out if they have a print on), dad's old business shirts, plain dressing gowns, tea-towels for heads, sheets (to drape around shoulders) - all these work. Here are a couple of photos of what children have worn in the past.

Trip Slip and Money - Due By Wednesday. NO SLIP = NO TRIP. Permission slips were put into your child's book bags on Friday. Please complete the permission slip and return with the $5 by Wednesday. They look like this - just in case you haven't yet seen them.

Upcoming Events - Week 11
Monday/Tuesday - Student Led Conferences 3:15-6:15. Details on how to book will be sent to you later this week.
Tuesday - Trip to Mount Maunganui - Please be at school by 8:30.
