Firstly - thanks to all who were able to make the Student Led Conferences tonight. It was fabulous to see you and to celebrate your children's successes in their learning. Lots of very proud children with huge (and well deserved) smiles on their faces.
Secondly - remember assembly at 2pm tomorrow. Come to school in your uniform. Bring some Christmas clothes (or mufti if you don't have Christmas clothes) to wear at assembly. If you want to bring santa hats, reindeer ears etc you are welcome to. If you are a reader tomorrow hopefully you've practiced your reading 10x tonight - if not 10x before school. Mums and Dads - friends and other family members are most welcome to come to our assembly.
See you in the morning :0)

The Bey Blade design competition
So, some of the critters wanted to colour in some bey blade pages and we thought wouldn't it be better if we designed our own Bey Blade, instead of just colouring in? Here are some of their creations. The class will vote for their favourite on Friday and we will sent the favourite off to the makers to see if they can make it. They can be drawn, made out of lego, duplo, shapes, kliko, connex, paper, cardboard, leaves...anything.
Gardening update...
Here is an update from Abi on how the garden is going....
Our garden is doing great! Thank you to the gardening team this week, great effort and lots of fun enjoyed by everyone. Unfortunately Bunnings could not attend this week but we still got stuck in.

Can you name our gardeners this week? You may spot your little one in the photos. Some of Room 18 are naturals in this environment and it's wonderful to see their interest develop and flourish.
This week we cared for our rocket, tomatoes, cucumber, beans, parsley, lettuce and marigolds by weeding, watering, and carefully placing eggshells around our seedlings to stop the slugs and snails in their slithering paths!. Next week we will be creating some new seedlings, carrots, lettuce, and sugar snap peas :) YUM. Our team enjoyed tasting our rocket and parsely, whilst innovative water features were created and a worm maze! Tumananko you were the first to find a worm again, well done :)
If you hve anything you wourld like to share with us in our garden please let me know, our kids are loving it.
Thanks from The Gardening Team :)

Shot of the day...
Rushil is so serious, Max is full of flare and Lukas is attempting to get away from the camera!
What on earth were they trying to show me???
Model for a day...
...you looked amazing Lea. Mrs Thomson your sewing is fabulous! Mary MacKillop would have been most impressed.
Exciting!!!
Lunch eating has never been so entertaining!
A new container moved on site - the existing container moved to a new spot. What a huge crane to move them!
